Middle School

The Middle School is a great place for any student who likes the environment and animals. Our Middle School Roots & Shoots group is available for year 7-13. This group meets every week to work on projects that help fundraise for animal protection and raise awareness about saving energy, among other things.

You also have the opportunity to join the Gardening Club, or Tree Planting Club. Gardening Club meets at lunch to work in the school‘s garden beds. Students can adopt their own beds or just help out. Tree Planting meets after school on Wednesday, and helps reforestation projects in the school’s bush.

Senior School

The first two years in the Senior School are a really great opportunity to try out different leadership groups or start your own initiative. You get more access to a lot of service groups, like the school's Amnesty Team and UNICEF Team.  

The largest environmental group is Root & Shoots, which runs various projects to help people, the environment, and animals.

Year 13

In Year 13, you have the ability to join committees or become a Prefect. While none of these activities have sustainability focus, you might find them interesting if you like working in service groups. You can learn about any of the Committees here:
