During the Term 3 holidays the annual GAIL Conference took place at Kristin! On this trip, students from 8 schools visited Kristin and got the opportunity to collaborate and share their different cultures and experiences. During this conference, students got an opportunity to visit a Marae, Tiritiri Matangi, as well as take part in workshops on diversity! This experience allowed students to learn about other cultures as well as share New Zealand's heritage. It was evidently an opportunity to maintain/develop cultural sustainability and ensure that future generations are able to learn and enjoy aspects from all the different cultures!
